Course Introduction
For the past ten consecutive years, economists around the world have reported a steady decline in people productivity, creating a drag on overall business performance. While the causes are complex and multifaceted, the COVID-19 crisis has emerged as a catalyst for meaningful change, reshaping the world of work in ways many believe are permanent—and ultimately for the better. Rapid shifts in where, when, and how we work are driving a more digital and integrated workplace experience. This workshop provides practical tools, models, and capabilities to ensure the right people are in the right place, at the right time, with the right skills and motivation to sustainably improve workforce engagement and performance. Drawing on proven methods and up-to-date case studies from some of the world’s most successful organizations, the program is based on Tim Ringo’s award-winning book Solving the Productivity Puzzle (Kogan Page), winner of the 2021 Business Book Award for HR and Management. Participants will explore how to link people productivity to business strategy and results, and leave with actionable insights and tools to drive lasting change in their organizations.
